The Skookum Cast is a plaster cast discovered on September 22, 2000, in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest near Mount Adams, Washington. It was found during a Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) expedition and measures approximately 3.5 by 5 feet.
The cast shows a partial body imprint left in mud, and enthusiasts believe it may have been made by a Sasquatch. However, scientific analysis has suggested that it was most likely an elk’s imprint. The cast has been examined by several experts, including physical anthropologist Grover Krantz and wildlife biologist John Bindernagel, who have differing opinions on its origin.
