I was getting ready to leave the house in the dark and it was summer so the bedroom windows were open but it was pitch black outside and all of a sudden I heard foot steps that sounded like an elephant was coming only faster. My hair on my arms stood straight up and I was immediately scared because I know there are not any elephants in that area. I went outside and got in my car and left but saw nothing. 2 weeks before this I was asleep one night when I was awoken by what I thought was an injured mountain lion that was screaming at the top of his lungs and my cat was running around the walls from wall to wall with eyes so big I am sad when I think of how scared he was that night, I was not because I just thought it was a mountain lion and nothing more. 1 month before that I was out shopping and came back home and in my bedroom on the floor was a dead jet black huge scorpion and I was shocked because I didn’t think America had those kind of scorpions then 1 week later the same thing happened only this time the scorpion was alive. The scorpion didn’t try to run away from me and was there when I came back in the room with a bucket to put it in and take outside. After the loud heavy footsteps I made plans to leave and did but never stopped wondering if it was actually a mountain lion or not, I do know what made the footsteps.
